Good grief, that car is just incredible <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/drool.gif Undoubtedly was not kept all those years in the typical Chicago alleyway residential garage <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/no.gif

Do you recall what became of the 4k mile '64 you guys had at Classic Motors, Bill? Last came across it in So. Illinois circa early 80's.

----You know,,,I never did believe the mileage on that GTO. Too many small things (pedal-pad wear, etc.) kept a couple of us at Classic from ever promoting it as low mileage. It certainly couldnt have parked in the same garage as this Marimba red car. I have been told by the guys at Tri-Power that this GTO is literally the best unrestored car ever to come thru their doors!!!.......Bill S

Hey Bill-was that the Black '64? I remember going to rescue Dave Zamora on Rt. 83 with that car. He ran out of gas just south of the tollway on Rt.83. I went there to bring him some gas. He was driving Bondurants '59 Corvette, and on the way back we ran them off. That Corvette sucked the headlights out of that GTO! Ahhh those were the days!

----Hey Jake,,,No, I think Tenney is thinking of the red/black vinyl top/black gut 64. It was a decent enough car but just wasnt anywhere near the condition of the car in the video.
----That Bondurant car was one serious small-block Corvette....Bill S

That's the one, Bill. Saw it at the O'Hare auction, initially.
Maybe this is/was the black '64, cuzineddy ...?

----Wow!!! Theres another extremely nice original. I could be wrong but the vacuum linkage appears to be gone, but other than that it looks like it could compete with the Marimba car, and I like Nocturne blue a bit better as well......Bill S
