1965 Corvette Coupe. Red with red and white interior. 327/300 four speed with M21 and 3.36 rear end.
I bought this car from the original NCRS owner in 2006. The car has received the Bloomington Gold award and many NCRS Top Flight Awards. It has also received the NCRS Performance Verification award and the Duntov Mark of Excellence Award scoring at least 97% at a National NCRS event.
The car was restored in the mid 80’s and has been NCRS judged many times and driven about 6,000 since that time.
The engine, transmission and rear end are original to the car. The original owner provided the window sticker, sales documents, copies of canceled checks and new dealer delivery paperwork with the car. He also provided pictures of the brand new car the day he brought it home.
The car was ordered 12/31/64 from Tomkins Chevrolet in Eldon, MO (I have that document) when Ken was a senior in college. He moved to Louisiana in May of 1965 after graduation and the car has been in Louisiana and Texas its entire life.
The items that are incorrect to the car are the windshield and a replacement carburetor; the drivers fender was repaired in the '70's when someone backed into the car. All other items are correct part number and date code for the car.
This car is absolutely stunning with its red exterior and red and white interior. It is an older restoration and is a wonderful car to drive. I’ve just replaced the brakes with correct, first edition calipers that were used on all ’65 and early ’66 Corvettes. It also has a GM off road exhaust system that sounds wonderful. I chose to put radial tires on the car since I enjoy driving it.
I have this car priced at $53,000. [email protected] 512-657-1989
Here's a link from this site when I bought the car five years ago, there are pictures of the car and paperwork.
