If "Evil Kenevil" were alive today, this ad would have belonged to him.

You'd think he would just go to the Rockford Airport, and flip someone $100 for a few minutes on the runway. Chances are that the air traffic controllers are snoozing anyway. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif

We did just that on the local domestic airport in Stockholm. I worked at that airport as a bagagehandler/crusher. We did a prerace testrun one night after the last flight had landed. We had sort of "permission" by the guy driving the Follow Me car to do it on one of the taxiways, they didn't want us to use the runway if we rolled the car.
Anyway we did a full throttle pass with deployed chute and all. Two days later we qualified as #2.

I don't think ANYONE would want the responsibility of this future "Darwin award" winner's actions ... the liability is just too great for his intentions, not only it seems like he has no clue how to handle a bike at speed, let alone (as stated already) how much distance he needs to get up to speed AND to get it back down ... The best thing to do would be to read a magazine with the test results of whatever he has or pony up and drag it to Bonneville (again as already suggested) ....
maybe he could be another sports bloopers star ...
