WOW!

What is it that makes people think it is ok to take other people's stuff or money?

Did you buy or sell a car with this guy?

I actually attended one of the ICA Auctions at their facility in Chandler AZ a few years ago. As far as quality and type of cars involved, I would put it on a par with the Silver Auction that is held at Ft. McDowell AZ the same weekend as B-J, Russo & Steele, et.al. in January.

He tried to screw me last summer! Here's the short version of what happened. Put a newer convertible thru his auction with a reserve, I was out of town at work the weekend the auction occurred. Never got a call asking to lower the reserve the day it went over the block. Imagine my surprise when on Monday I called and they said it sold, but for less than my reserve. I told the worker bees I wanted to talk to Stan and to let him know I was picking up my car when I got back in town. They stopped taking my calls, never returned any and I call my credit card company to stop payment on the auction fee. Several days later I was told I could pick up my car. When I came in to pick up the car, everyone of consequence was unavailable so I never got to give him a piece of my mind. Bottom line, never paid a dime of fees and got my car back undamaged. About 6 months ago a Gilbert cop told me he was going down for fraud, made my day. He had a nice place next door to the Gilbert PD. Hard to imagine someone in business as long as he was going out that way. I know other local guys who were burned by typical auction schnanigans. I knew he was shady going in.
