Not exactly my idea, but it's great to see family and friends again.
Spent the first part of the day at a friend's mechanical shop. He works on everything, old an new.
Here are some interesting cars (or what's left of them) he now has.

Ever since I knew him, 20+ years, he's had a Chevelle frame with disc breakes and a 12 bolt in the back lot. I'm surprised no one ever stole anything off it. Well, here's the body that belongs to it.

20+ years ago, a mechanic that worked for him bought this Chevelle to restore. Rumor has it this is an original L78 car, but of course the engine is gone. It was disassembled, parts stored here and there, and the body was put up on 55 gallon drums with wood planks supporting it. Sheet metal was cut off it, new sheet metal was purchased and place near the car (outside), then the work stopped.

My guess is somewhere along the line, the rear fell off the "rig" it was sitting on and hit the rear. 1/4 is bowed out.
