Just saw this on ebay. Auction was ended early. I have a feeling that this may have been a car that Joel breathed on? Check out the suspension, shifter, spoiler, etc. Could have even been a catalog built car. Either way, its cool! What do you think?

Looking at the Q&As at the bottom, it looks like someone got a fun car on the cheap no matter what it is.

Seller says it's a "Don Hardy" Vega kit.
the Narrowed 12 bolt is what most of the guys buying engine conversion kits were skimping on. They paid the price before too long.
Either way, tons (1 1/2) of fun <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/headbang.gif

I've never even heard of Don Hardy until today! Wish I saw that Vega before the auction ended... I would have loved to have it.

On weekend in HS we were bored and stuffed a 351 Cleavland into a beat up Pinto, actually went in fairly easy, cut a hole in the hood to clear the carb, glued on a $5 scoop, left it dead stock on the outside. Went street racing, got laughed at a lot, the thing was a deadly missle.Would lite the tires at 70mph and I think we blew up at least 5 stock rear ends, fun times for not a lot of $$

I spoke to Don Hardy a while back, when I was reseraching a Vega. He did provide conversion parts to Motion Performance.

We looked at this below linked Don Hardy article from HotRod online here a few years back where it included;
<span style="font-style: italic">..."He also built all of the Vega conversions for Joel Rosen's Motion Performance on Long Island..."</span>
Hardy was supplying Motion the V8 Vega conversion parts, not building the cars...right?.

Don Hardy Race Cars were THE builder of ProStocks in the 70's and 80's. Glidden, Gapp'n Roush and Dyno Don were just a few of the names on Don Hardy's customer list.
I know him back then and used to meet him every year at US Nationals. Very nice man with a good looking wife. BTW I remember when she mistakenly took our Swedish Absolut Vodka instead of wine LOL, Absolut hadn't been introduced to the US market then.
