As I was unloading my three outboard engines that I have no boat for I got to thinking of all the stupid stuff I bring home from auctions. I bought these engines at Mecum Indy...I hate you Dana Mecum. Thankyou Eric and Dave from Daves Nostalgia signs for doing amazing job of crating and shipping them to me...After a hour of unscrewing the crate I have 3 cool useless engines and a lifetime supply of screws. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=25955&filename= photo1.jpg http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=25956&filename= tn_IMG_4713.JPG http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=25957&filename= tn_IMG_4714.JPG http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=25959&filename= tn_IMG_4716.JPG http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=25960&filename= tn_IMG_4717.JPG http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=25962&filename= tn_IMG_4719.JPG http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=25961&filename= tn_IMG_4718.JPG

Then for some reason I feel the need for a Ford 9N tractor with a aluminum Buick V8. Thanks again Dana !Then I need a Triumph..again Dana. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=25964&filename= tn_photo3.jpg Or a Isetta thanks to Drew Alcazar. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=25967&filename= tn_photo5.jpg Or a Peel thanks to Craig Jackson.. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=25965&filename= tn_photo4.jpg A old plane pedal car blame goes again to Dana. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=25968&filename= tn_photo6.jpg Or a Austin sedan with the roof cut off credit goes to Mitch Silver. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=25969&filename= tn_photo7.jpg

Last but not least is 115 Corvettes I bought at Barrett-Jackson... Going to these auctions the only one of those items I wanted was the triumph. This is getting out of hand.. I hate all the auctions for making me drag home this junk.... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=25971&filename= tn_photo1.jpg

Charley, now you're really starting to scare me. I also have 2 old outboards (and an old boat for them). It can be as additive as old cars. Be careful.

The only guy that knows what will happen whenever I go to a auction is Phil Silva...Nothing surprises him anymore.

Yep, all cleaned up, sitting on the stand between my '57 and the Coke machine. I'll check with Thomas and see if we can get together <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic">SOON</span></span>! Hope Don & Rick are up for a road trip.

You could try mounting one of the outboard engines on back of the Isetta or the Peel and see if they will float. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/grin.gif

If the opposed twin in the box is a whole conventional motor w/ shaft/prop and looking for a home, please let me know more about it..
A buddy o' mine has a 30's era Hydro racer he inherited from his Grandfather w/ one of these Speed-Twin motors but some bastard pinched the motor and he needs another..

The one in the box is the one pictured out of the box called "Fold Light" by Evinrude. It is hinged to fold up, so you can put it in the box and then the trunk of your car. No I'm keeping it..

Thanks Charley!.
The one buddy had was a similar era Evinrude called a Speed Twin, looked much the same including gastank and an opposed twin too but no folding mechanism!.
Now that you're an old boat guy, please keep your eyes peeled!.

I wish I had your problem Charley! I've never even had enough money to be a registered bidder at an auction! LOL

Charley, since you like little cars, how about this Nash Metro I saw at the 2011 York, PA Street Rod show, it has New Jersey plates on it. Also, I have to send out a BIG thanks to Charley for making it much easier for us dummies to post pics.

Ok, while we are on small cars, here is a project I had when I lived in Italy.
Was that one of Pauls Triumphs?
