Hey, I recognize that smiling face and that resto shop. Could it be Deuce Heaven?
Sounds great! What pumps do we hear growling away just before it is fired up?

That was actually before polish. The vintage pics and all the docs on this car is amazing!!! From what the owner says, Joel said this car MAY have the most paper of all the cars. Glad to be able to part of a cool Motion car! ZLX 600hp survivor with lots of history.

It wasn't as easy as it seemed. Actually reminded me a lot of when we fired the Roof deuce the 1st time after setting all those years except no old mouse nests flew out of the exhaust pipes on the Vette.
This is the first Motion hone a drive I've ever seen installed in a vette. Especially in a automatic application. Car has a 4.88 rear. Hone a drive splits it up to 3.42 for highway use.

Sorry Sam, I'm an old man just figured out how to attach pics to an email.lol This discussion may need to go in the Motion section. There is alot of as found and vintage pix as well as today photos of this beast. May need a little tutorial to resize some of the photos. Thanks for your help Sam and may need some more! The pix of the burnout and the original owner shooting the gun are simply timeless. Hopefully I can figure out how to resize.
Thanks,
Joe

Nice 1911 .45 and 1960's era, first generation M16 with the triangular fore end and no forward assist feature.
Priceless. Was he in a hospital bed in the M16 photo?

Steve - looks to me that he may have had a head cradle on for traction or some such thing. I remember reading he had been paralyzed in Vietnam.

The original owner passed away from agent orange exposure aquired while in Nam.
He had hand controls on the car as he was paralyzed from the waist down from being shot in the back. Those controls were removed in the 80's when his uncle had the car. I thought maybe that's why there isn't a park brake lever. That maybe that's where they put the hand brake, but found out through conversations with Joel, that the park brake had to be removed to make room for the hone o drive unit.

You guys need to learn how to Google.
My 30 second search of"baldwin motion" "1972" "paralyzed' came up with the original owners (David Akenbauer from Covington Ky) life story.
