This brings back memories of how I used to be able to find cars 25 years ago. Slot mags, traction bars, air shocks, steel braided hoses..There was a cassette player on the floor, blanket style seat covers,,greasy orig. 396 on a pallet and 427 under the hood. Still has it's orig. U-joints. Stinks like mouse piss...I love it.

The wet underneath is after steam cleaning part of it I soaked it in Boeshield.

I see that lonely SD455 still sitting there. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/frown.gif

Is that an orange Vega in the back?

You will just have to come see the SD at MCACN...Yes that is a Vega GT with a ...wait for it.......auto trans.

Looks great! Those 265/50/14 rear tires would be a hard size to find today.

Spent a few summers in the 1970's in an orange Vega GT my dad talked my mom into. Story for another thread.

Vega..I tried NJSteves Safest Rust Remover on the iron head that was not painted when the engine was rebuilt..It was straight rust. Stuff worked great except it ruined what looked like galvanizing on the air cleaner and what splashed onto the floor around the kiddie pool etched the concrete...

LOL. Reminds me of the 73 Vega I had back in Denver with an auto trans. Zero to sixty time was 28 seconds. It was the second slowest vehicle I ever had (the first slowest was a brand new 1995 Dodge 3500 Cummins diesel 4x4 - 30 seconds. After a month, I traded it in on a 95 Suburban 6.5 diesel, and still have today.)

P.S. When using that rust remover liquid on adjacent dissimilar metals, always keep a close eye on the progress. I think it creates some type of electrolytic reaction....So I guess I'll be hearing from your lawyers, now?

I have the same centercaps on my 56. Mine are in poor condition. Any idea where I can get new ones?

My buddy has the same wheels on his 59 Rancharo in my shop. I thought about trading a little labor cost for them to put on my 66 Mustang. What brand are they?

I think the center caps in Charley's Camaro are Appliance

Am I confusing the questions regarding the caps, or did someone think they were Ansen?

It's been a while since I looked at my wheels but I thought they were Ansen. I have the same caps on my wheels. Will Appliance caps fit Ansen wheels?

Nice Charlie, I was really digging the orange master and booster.

as for the Vega, I would have kept the rust but removed the engine. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/headbang.gif send to KWhizz for LS conversion <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif

Awesome car Charley. I'm jealous, I thought hard about buying it myself. I think those are Appliance wheels. Ansen slots use these caps:
