Do you guys think this car is priced appropriately?

http://www.legendarymotorcar.com/site/775

doesn't say numbers matching so I assume not. GM of Canada docs though.

Let me know what you think.

For that money they could have detailed the engine compartment.
The intake and exhaust manifolds need some work. This is quite unlike Legendary....

69/70 L78 Novas are not usually documented, which makes this a good deal.Plus its an M22 car. They also have 2 Mustangs that are more than fairly priced. Nice cars overall.

I didn't see anything on what the rear end code was, or if it was original to the car. Did I miss it somewhere?

The motor compartment needs some "TLC" to be more factory correct, but nothing major, if that's what your looking for... I like the color, nice looking car... I would try to hit them up at 40 or high 30s....

It doesn't appear to have the rear defroster option. Strange for a Southern Ontario purchased vehicle...

John P's is worth considering IMO....

John Platania's well documented '69 L78 from Brigance - HiPo Chevy Dealer! (http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=299801#Post2998 01)

I am looking at trading my 1970 Hemi GTX 4-speed (listed in the Supercars for sale section) for it plus cash, so it would have to be this one.

Do they have the Canadian docs posted up somewhere? I'm not seeing them. Still interested in what the rear is from original.

I don't think that Canadian docs will show the rear information you are looking for.. I got Canadian docs once from George Z on a supposed Z28 I was thinking on buying.....Turns out it was a former 327 / auto Camaro cloned as a Z28. Those docs made no mention of the rear option code on the Camaro.

The Canadian paperwork is a big plus but not everything. I would think that if the car had the original drive train they would have mentioned it in the ad. That will be a big deal when you go to sell it. From my past expereince I would want to look at the car real close in person before I buy it because these cars were not always special and a car from Canada may of had a tough life and it will show on the underside. From my own experince I would not recomend buying a L78 Nova unless it has <span style="text-decoration: underline">all the original paperwork and the original drivetrain from the factory. </span>

If you are looking for a nice Nova, check out this one on E-Bay (Item number:190563971180).. I believe the owner, Jason, is a member on the site here..

In my opinion this car is KICK A$$.. I love 68 big block cars.. I like this one much better than the 69....

This one is also very nice.. Gotta love white!!

I would say that Legendary's expertise in Nova's is questionable..........

Legendary Motorcars is a fantastic dealership with a wealth of knowledge. Peter Klutt and David Griffiths are friends of mine and are two of the most straight-forward, honest people that I have had the pleasure to deal with. I've bought several cars from them and never had an issue.

If you have questions about the car or you want to see the paperwork, undercarriage, etc. Just ask. If you've been talking to them about the Nova then you probably know that already.

Nice car. Sure could use a new carb base gasket though. A friend of mine that lives in Fort St. John has a real 10-10 69L78 Nova that he purchased from Legendary some years back when the market was high. Can&quot;t get his money back today.
