I had a good time running the LS6 Chevelle through the auction. Overall it was a very well run event. It is unfortunate some of the "experts" labeled my LS6 as not being original paint. It has 100% original cranberry red paint. A potential buyer was told it was repainted. I guess some of the "experts" need a bit of educating! I should be flattered that the paint appears to be too nice for original! Ha!

115K hi bid is nothing to sneeze at. Your car looked very clean - a real gem. Good luck in the future.

I looked that Chevelle over very well and IMO found no signs of any repainting at all on the body. Simply amazing. What a cool car!

Thanks for bringing your cars to Mecum.

Mark, Your LS6 is one of the BEST in the country....there will always be those skeptics and uneducated buyers out there.
I hope you can joy us in my 1970 Chevelle Display at the 2011 MCACN`s. Perhaps you may find the CORRECT Buyer there?

I was fortunate enough to see the Chevelle at the auction and to say it's an incredible car is an understatement!

We had a great time at the auction, and can't thank Stefano enough for everything he did with the sale of our Yenko. Couldn't be happier with how everything was handled by him and the Mecum staff!
