Please keep John and his family in your thoughts and prayers. He is in the hospital in ICU and is gravely ill. He is such a good fellow and I know many here know him and Jr.
Regards,
Mark

A mutual friend spoke with John's son, John Jr., yesterday to get an update on his father's condition. Soon after going in for his annual check-up, John developed a very serious case of pneumonia and was admitted to the hospital. Since admittance, his liver has shut down as he remains in the ICU in serious condition. These are trying times for John and his family. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Just a month ago he completed two alternators for me. First class work and a very pleasant guy to deal with. A very sad day for the hobby. My deepest condolences to the family.

John, Jr. will continue to run the business. Dick Whittington said John, Sr. had told him that Jr. is even more of a perfectionist than him. He will be busy so please be patient with him as the excellent workmanship will continue and Sr's legacy will endure.
