I'll agree, one of the best Hershey's yet. I walked the car corral on Thursday and missed the black '62, it must have come in on Friday. I saw quite a few cars with sold signs on them also.

The weather couldn't have been better. Great crowd - lots of foreign buyers which surprised me a little with the euro depressed.

The show at Hershey is changing....still a lot of real old stuff there but the AACA Muscle Car classes are changing things for the AACA and bringing in new faces and cars. The class I was in (36B) had one COPO Camero, one Z-16 Chevelle, two '62 409 Impala's, one '63 409 Impala, one L-79 '66 Nova along with several SS 396 Chevelles. Pretty good showing for our kind of cars and that's just that one class. AACA has classes for all the muscle cars now.
And... the old stuff is interesting to look at also

Tommy, The 62 was there on Wednesday morning when I took the picture and when I came around later on in the afternoon, the car cover was mostly covering the front of the car and the description, so it may have been sold.

very true. I have never seen more people speaking so many different languages anywhere. It was crazy

My son and I spent Friday afternoon drooling at the Hershey car corral. This event just keeps getting bigger and better.

As good as the black '67 Olds 442 looks in the picture, it was even more stunningly beautiful in person. A first class restoration, indeed. 4-speed, deep black paint, red interior and red pinstripe. I think the asking price was $55,000? This thing really made my flight suit tight! A good friend of mine had one of these beasts when we were in high school. Man, you wanna talk about torque!

My son is 14 and whenever we go to a car show we each choose one car that we would buy if we could have any car from the show. The black 442 was my choice. My son chose a beautiful 1976 Trans Am 4-speed.

That black Olds 442 belongs to a freind, don't know if he sold it or not. He had two cars in the car coral, the Olds and a Mustang, he sold the Mustang on Friday morning. He had a lot of interest in the Olds but I don't know if anyone came across with the money.

Got several offers on my car - not trying too hard to sell it. I just enjoyed the drive between Hershey and Lancaster each day with the windows down and radio up. Bill sold the '66 conv to a guy from Brazil. Lots of interest in the Shelby cars, but they are still in his showroom for now.
