Really clean V-8 Pinto. Guy built this back in the late 70's during the Pinto/Vega V-8 craze when every magazine had at least 1-2 Vega/Pinto conversions or tech articles every month.

This car looks better than most that were done back in the day.
Love the bias plys and Cragars. Fronts 14 x6 with D70-14's and rears are L60-14

A Day 2 car NEVER looks right with radials...something is lost in translation.

I like the little cars Dave. The Pinto's, Vegas (wagon versions too) and Monzas and I really like the little Dodge Colts.

I'll see if I can dig some old pics of a friends "Pintera" form the late 1970's.

Found pics of a pro street car I had that would also fit in the street freak category.

Was that in magazines? I remember seeing that one or one very similar in an old mag. Cool ride, bet it was fun?

Yeah, I think that would qualify for Streat Freak! This looks to be a very well done car. I don't remember this one specifically but it does indeed look very similar to some that were in magazines in that era.

It was built by a friend of mine and as I recall it was in or on 18 magazines.
