Does anyone know what model this console is meant for, and if it can be purchased anywhere, used or resto? (pic is from Tom's blue SS)
I know it's hard to see. Just wondering if it is actually for a Nova, or do any GM products interchange?
Maybe it's from a Camaro? I have found a few resto's, but none like this or with gauges.
Thanks.

OK, stupid statement. I know just about ALL GM products interchange. I meant the consoles.

I can't tell from the pic, but if it's a short console, it's for a '69 Nova. The long console--went between the buckets, was for the '69 Camaro.

Additionally, Nova gauges are black, Camaro silver.

Check here for a Nova console.

That's the one. Thanks for the info. I did not know that. Any ideas where to find either one? I have found a few online, but none with gauges.
Thanks, Jeff

They make repops of the shells--here's one on eBay. You can buy the repop gauges. Others can chime in here, but I prefer original gauges. Put a WTB ad here on the site and I bet you someone has some originals they'd be willing to sell.

What do you expect to pay? I don't think originals will be cheaper if they are nice.

I agree with Jason. Probably not going to be cheaper for originals, especially if they're in nice condition/good working order.

I'd still rather have the original gauges, but if you wanted to buy all in one package, that's not a bad way to go.

I sold a nice used set 2 years ago out of a 73....with the wiring for $800 with the speedo, tach and dash bezel. It was nice nice and worked.

The gauges are only part of it, the tach speedo assembly along with the wiring is the other half.

If it was crusty junkyard stuff thats been sitting outside, its still worth $400. I have sold those too in the past.

Agreed. I just wasn't ready for that price I guess. I should have known. Like you said, it's worth that to get a nice new looking assembly.
