Cool, I can see myself in that video watching by the side.
It was great to meet Rick and they did an awesome job restoring that rare piece of history.
I had a great time and it was worth it driving 8 hours from Ontario Canada to meet everyone <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif

That is one beauty. Cool story as well. Thanks for the vid. I'm in it at about the 5 to 6 second point. I'm the goofball in the grey long sleeve shirt and Levis with the camera in hand. I got some shots of them uncovering that car from the straight ahead angle.
I was standing there at the beginning of the unveiling and saw Bashton come in with mini amp and microphone in hand. He wired that system up in seconds flat and they were on the air broadcasting.

Thank you for all the comments. It was great to work with Dana and everyone involved with this car and truly was a labor of love. I honestly have to say the best part of the whole build was for Annie and I to finally meet Dana in person and spend some time with him this weekend. He is a great guy to hang with and we are hopefull he will join the growing list of lifelong friends that we have gotten from this hobby. Another past customer Mark P. and his wife Kim drove from Virginia to spend the weekend with us as well and that is truly what this hobby is all about, friendships!
Thanks Ken and the rest for posting pictures and videos. As usual, I had my camera with and never got a single shot of the car all weekend. You would think one of these years I would figure it out!
Special thanks to Annie. I truly could not do what I do without her help and support. She is one amazing woman!

I don't even know where to start, what a weekend! Thank you for all of the kind comments.
The show was like the United Nations of Muscle. I heard there were people and cars from 27 states. I just kept meeting people from different parts of the country and I still didn't get to meet everyone on my list. I second the motion on the name tag idea. Rick and Annie are great Ambassadors for the hobby and we had a great time with our crazy group restaurant hopping. They are special people and a blast to hang out with and I can't thank them enough. The car is incredible and I was trying not to stare at it but I couldn't help myself, Tom's paint work is over the top. Having Lynn Yenko in the display with us all day was icing on the cake. Can you name her dad's favorite color? Bob and his group have a special event on their hands and hopefully I will be there next year. And oh yeah, I forgot to mention the cars... <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/flag.gif

Wow Dana! The car is done and looks great. I remember when I drove down to your place and checked it out not long after you got it. What a difference! Congratulations!!

OK, I don't know where I got the pic, but this car has been my desktop background for a while now.
I just realized it was the same car when I watched the video.
AWESOME CAR!!!

Really? There is more than one of these in this condition in existence? WOW!
Beautiful, Beautiful car! Great work.

That looks like David Heth's (not sure if he is the current owner). This was the prototype 68 Yenko. Not sure if that is the same as the one shown but looks like it is especially with the emblem placement.

Colin also used to own a Fathom Blue 68. The owner of one of the big resto parts stores also owns a FB one.

We have some nickle and dime things to finish on the car and are supposed to do some studio shoots as well as a photo shoot with the F4U Corsair. When that is completed it will be heading home.
