I have never seen this part number on an aluminum GM block before.
Click Me! (http://www.ebay.com/itm/BIG-BLOCK-ALUMINIUM-509-ci-3992040-ZL1-HEADS-3946074-CRANK-4-DIMPLE-RODS-/250931185364?pt=Race_Car_Parts&vxp=mtr&hash=item3a 6caa06d4)
Either way good deal in my opinion.

That looks like it did not have any bidders - listing ended but no bidders or buy it now listed.

It sold with a best offer option for 3K. So someone offered the seller that and won it.

I talked to the seller on the phone the day the engine was listed. His son was supposed to send pictures of the main web damage but never did. The same engine was listed earlier in the year and did not meet reserve. I was scared by the cracks, import duties, and shipping. Either way, a very cool engine!

pulled from a mclaren... must have been an independant M8F by this time. The mclaren team ,lola and shadow guys were using sleeveless reynolds blocks by the end of 70. a neat piece of history to own tho. id be scared as well... these blocks were abused heavily.
