Did any 69-73 Nova have the black rear panel like the Camaros did? Was this a Motion or Nickey or Berger thing?

Only the SS cars had the blackened out rear panels with SS badges through 72. Novas with the exterior decor package had a brighter silverish/black colored metal panel on this same area where the SS panel goes also through 72. 73 did not have any at all I don't believe..
These were all from the factory like this. I don't specifically know of any modifications in this area from any of those performance dealerships you mentioned...

Cool, that is what i've found also viewing tons of photos. Only the SS's had it, and it looked more like a trim piece than just a painted rear panel.
I was just curious since the Camaros had it, maybe they did it with other models.
Thanks Rich.
After seeing this followed right up with the Jefferson Nova, is this kinda what you are asking about?

I was just looking at that car after seeing the post. Nice.
No, I was referring more to how some of the Yenkos, and maybe Motions have the entire rear tail panel painted black, like so-

Not sure if that deliniates a builder mod, or just an owners preference. Just thought it was cool and different either way.
Does it mean anything, like a Yenko/Motion/Berger, etc build?
