Helping a customer. 1965 SS, light Blue w/2 tone blue interior (all mint original) buckets, console. 283 /pg car. We were going to make it into a L-79 Clone but things came up, now for sale. Car was purchased with fresh paint probably a 8 on a scale to 10. We then brought it to my shop, took the frame out from under it and totally restored the chassis.

The chassis was blasted, primed and painted, new Right Stuff fuel and brake lines, new gas tank and sending unit, new body bushings, a correct 12 bolt rear was located w/3.73 open gears, all new bearings/seals. New rear control arms (boxed) with new bushings all around.

Front end was rebuilt, new bushings, etc. We added a complete power disc brake kit cleaned up and painted firewall and parts and then re assembled. Motor was cleaned and painted and reinstalled since the L-79 engine was shelved for the project. New tranny lines, spring ring battery cables and all new front end wiring harness up front. Over 30K invested, asking $26,500 or serious offers.

See pics on my Facebook MHR page here since my website isnt up:

----Micky,,,Car looks very nice, but am wondering why it has the AC vent in the dash. Was it an AC car, or was the dash changed out? I just cant quite see if either of the outer two vents are there. The firewall appears to be non-AC. Very clean, in any event......Bill S

Good eyes. Yes it was an A/C car. We took the a/c out and made it non ac when we were in the middle of the process. All the factory A/C stuff will go with the car if the new owner wants it.

This is a great car for the money, hard work has been done. Transplant your big block or hot small block into this and you have a great cruiser.
