I went to a friend's house last night and picked up some old car magazines and brochures from him.

Here are some pictures.

This one is for the 1960 Chevrolet trucks, 1962 Corvair and 1970 GM models.

The 1970 brochure is pretty cool.

I love the picture of the 1969 Camaro in a 1970 Brochure.

What I found most intersting is this Corvette brochure. I believe it's from 1953 <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/dunno.gif

That Corvette Brochure would be pretty nice to have.

Awesome. That's the kind of stuff to keep and pass down to your kids when you're old!

Those wheel covers on the 70 Nova SS are interesting...I've never seen an SS car with them before. That Nova also has the custom exterior package....note the rocker moldings, brite window trim and pinstripe...you don't see many today with the pinstripes.

Cool stuff...thanks for sharing.

It's the little things that get me going and these old car magazines and paperwork is one of them.

Glad you guys enjoy them as much as me.

If anyone wants to see anything specific, let me know and I can take detailed pictures.

Kurt

P.S. It was just pointed out to me that the Vette is a '69 also.

Kurt,

Great stuff, Love it! That 1970 GS Skylark is the same color as mine, Gulfstream Blue. Thanks for sharing.

I believe the Corvette brochure is from 1954. From what I remember it was available at the Autorama shows.

The page showing the Pontiacs is also interesting, as it shows a yellow 1969 Firebird among a group of 1970 Pontiacs. Also note the 70 GTO with the rarely seen (but optional) 1969 Judge stripe.

I believe this was a GM shareholders brochure.

Brian, I believe you are correct. Someone gave me the heads up on that last night.

The 69 Camaro and Firebirds were carried through January because of a strike at GM at the time, so early literature doesn't show the new body styles. The 70's became available in February.
