I think Donny is correct...smog was put on all the 69 4 speed cars...I also think this was true for 68.In 1970 only the solid lifter and CA cars got the smog.

Wow!!!! It's obvious that the car doesn't have the smog on it!!! Not too sure I would have kept it on myself back in the day. That doesn't stop from seeing the quality of the rest of car though. Maybe the next owner can buy a numbers match,NOS never used complete setup from someone on this site and make everybody happy. Everyone's a critic!!! Buy it for what it is. Good luck with the sale.

Barry, I think your correct with your statement on the 69 cars. I got an orginal 69 Camaro RS/SS, 396-325HP. Auto car. WITH smog? Benny <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/dunno.gif

Bruce </div></div>Yes buy it for what it is. Is this a documented big block car?? I looked very close to that build sheet and theres no mention of the motor/trans combo or at least a VIN on it.Thats alot of scratch for it if you cant document it.

I tried enlarging the photo..but it distorts.
1st box could be L34...not sure?
VIN won't be on the Fisher Body sheet...sequence number from cowl tag shold match the paperwork.
Car has 1970 master cylinder and the woodgrain wheel center is not a Nova thing. Overall looks very nice...you don't see mant L-34 cars...maybe the seller will post engine, trans and rear info with pics...that would help.
