No a/c I see. *Paul

Hi Paul. Pre-96 (IIRC) 1LE option mandated a/c delete. Note too, crank up windows, cheap sound system, manual door locks, manual seats, no cruise control...just like the good old days...L-O-L. The car is a rush to drive too.

Wayne.
Congrats!!!!
Reserve is met and it looks like she's going to a new home. I know from first hand the next owner will be ecstatic about the car and you can finally move on with other things. We both might be real upset years from now when the value of these 1LE's hit the roof!! What are you going to do with the SS wheels?? They would look real nice on the 02?? Is it still for sale as well???

Hi Ya Bruce. My wife wants to keep the 2002 Z/28 as a driver (for herself....L-O-L). So it's not for sale! It's a great looking car and I think it runs as good as it looks (although I only drove it home from Van to the ferry and from the ferry home). I might try the SS wheels on it too.

I suspect we will regret the 1LE thing some day too <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif

Once the hammer falls, I have a feeling my Nova won't be for sale any longer <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/grin.gif

Perfect!!! We (fellow SYC members) need you to finish your Nova project. It would be a shame not seeing you finish it. I am personally looking forward to seeing all the pic's and writeup's during the build and ultimately seeing the car in person. We are planning a trip out West this summer to see the mountains again, My kids have never seen them other than the pic's I have. Planning on going as far as Kelowna BC. I'll stay in touch with you as we get closer to our trip. Buford is still on schedule as we started thrashing yesterday. Pic's will follow as promised.

I guess it is not a done deal yet. It's beginning to look like a non-buyer.

Wayne.
Now that suck's!!!! I noticed that the winning bidder has a "0" rating which doesn't usually go well. I hope the two of you can work something out. Is he/she from CDN as you might have thought???

Yes that other member would be me (10-2ndmalibu) and I'm ecstatic to have it back. The story as some might already know is that I traded this car for Wayne Scraba's unfinished 86 Buick Regal T Type project (Buford) last Dec/10. The day I helped load the car into a Mackie enclosed trailer headed west to BC Canada, I thought I was making a huge mistake. I really had enjoyed owning and taking care of it during my ownership and knew I'd miss it. As I watched Wayne struggle to sell this car thru many different avenues without having any success and when it became available at a much lower price, I thought I'd buy it back. I've known of all the previous owners, all friends of mine and I guess I'm now the 3rd and 5th owner of this terrific Camaro. I really do think that some fellow members missed the boat here. This car is brand new in and out. When's the last time you've seen one?? I believe thru my research that this is the only blue 1995 Camaro 1LE produced and until someone can prove of another, I'm sticking too that thought. Wayne, thanks for looking after as long as you did. I know that it won't be back on the market any time soon.
Cheers

So how is Buford coming along?

Buford is coming along quite well. I have continued on with Wayne Scraba's vision and have gone with a GMPP tall deck CNC 572 block with GMPP/Callies Magnum crank/Brodix BB3 Xtra"O" heads/Jesel belt drive/Jesel Sportsman shaft rockers etc etc that was also purchased from Wayne.ATI reverse manual shift TH400 with griner trans brake. We are currently thrashing on it this winter to hopefully have it ready for the Car Craft Summer Nationals in Minneapolis MN this July and maybe the ocassional 1320. I'm trying to take my time with the build and continue the same path that Wayne started. Last year 2011 was the first year in over 20 years I hadn't raced. Like I've said before, It's better being part of the show than a spectator. Thanks for asking about Buford. It's a real cool car. We are expecting mid 9's at 140ish
