For Sale: 1969 SS396 Monaco Orange Chevelle, 100% Matching Numbers. Born with Engine, Transmission and Rear End.....325hp, Rare Bench Seat 3 Speed. Even the hard to find Air Cleaner is correct on this Chevelle. This car has less than 500 miles since complete frame of restoration. This Chevelle scored 970 points at 2008 Spring Chevy Vette Fest. No Disappointments, ready for any car show.

I would not have known this could be ordered in a 3 speed. Very interesting. A bench seat stick is underated. I have had one and loved it.

More on the 3-Spd. stick MK1V cars, there's an original L78 3-Spd. Stick '69 Chevelle up here in Canada..
Some here know the car, original delivery by the only Yenko dealer ever in Canada, Mo Carter's dealership in Hamilton Ontario..

Am pretty sure this was the default transmission for any of the BBCs. You had to order a TH400 or an M20/21/22, as appropriate, at extra charge.

It was. I have posted a photo of my LeMans Blue 69 SS427 Chevelle on here several times over the years. That car in fact started life as an L34, 3-speed car. It was not long after I bought it that a 2xfour, 427 and M22 were installed.
