No axles, bearings, or posi unit Tommy? Where is the ring and pinion? You said it was a 3.55 ratio. WHAT???

The code reads 3:55 on the axle tube. Does that help. *Paul

Sammy..don't break my chops <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/headbang.gif
The ad says <span style="font-weight: bold">"12 Bolt Housing"...</span>, it doesn't say complete rear with all the internals...if I was selling a "bare engine block", would you ask me where the rods, pistons and crank were <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/hmmm.gif
The 3.55 BT rear was a common application for 69 Camaros and Novas...that's why it is listed...you probably have one in your blue Nova <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/scholar.gif
So..do you want to buy it, or just critique the ad??
Luv, Tom

Do the new repop housings have the stamped numbers on them?

No...the aftermarket does not provide this...some people re-stamp or alter the stamps on original housings..but, that's another movie <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/rolleyes.gif
This is an original GM housing which has been restored and is ready to be completed by the next owner. I thought about adding the internals, but anyone who wants this for the date stamp/code would probably want a dated posi and gears, etc. So, it really didn't make sense for me to go further...
I do have a GM 4 series carrier and 4.10 GM gears if someone wants to go that route.
Please feel free to call or email if you need more info..thanks SYC.

Then I guess it is worth what the buyer is willing to pay.

yea I know some of those guys Tommy. They are the ones worried about dated ring and pinions and internals but are the same guys that restore their cars with Chinese sheetmetal.

Were the spring perches replaced from being twisted or metal-fatigue.

They were not on the housing when I got it...so new ones were installed during the resto.
