I like the car. It's a shame he didn't go all the way with the correct parts.

Dude, it HAS all the correct parts to make it one awesome day 2-er!

I would agree. Though a beautiful car and the fact that it currently has all the right parts to make it a very safe and reliable car by todays standards but given what this car was built for, with the low mileage and the original paint I would have put the car back to exactly how it was in the magazine complete with the same hood. Restored that way it would have been the perfect example of a Day II car not to mention preserving a little history.

There are some really great threads in this section that will teach the difference in period correct parts verses modern.

Very nice car though.

Looks like an old gasser with that front axle but don't remember seing any 70's nova gassers in the old days. Love the tunnel ram. This, with the original suspension up front could be a great Modified production car or even a Pro Stock car of that era. NHRA/AHRA style.

Back in the day...early 70's the was a new trend starting...street freaks...cars like this Nova...maybe something like the mid eighties Pro Street deal....neither a street car nor a car to fit any NHRA class.....

Yes, that Camaro peaked my interest as well.

Is that the fabled black and gold ZL-1?

Seriously, someone on here has to know the owner of that car (unless I missed it already on here).

That is a really nice car and I would love to own it. But the only time it is necessary to pay 100K for a Nova is when it's one of Canonsburg's finest.

I dig it. Pretty sure I've seen it before, probably posted on here.
