Is it the "original motor" of a car from a person on this site?

... or

Is it a motor that was in his car and not the original motor to his car?

Jude, I believe this is a motor from a burnished brown copo that you may have owned? It is a 521

Been a while, but from what I recall, you had both 512MN & a 521MN. I thought the engine I had in the BBrown COPO was TO512MN (and had a vin on it-Mark B & I talked about it) and the reason i'm curious about the TO521MN is that I know the 2nd owner of my Scuncio parted that engine from the car and it could still be in the NE. (the BE rear was narrowed and put in a 67 Chevelle)

Pretty sure the early Scuncio COPO's were 04C...would that date line up with a TO521MN engine? And, I'm pretty sure Adrian L got the 2nd COPO as Bob J told me he pre-ordered it for color, 4 speed trans & no radio

Either way, that's a great price & I would have certainly bought it from you if our timing had been better...I'm not a happy camper right now, so <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/Can-I-Have-It.gif

checked my notes & I think it shakes out like this....

The BBrown Roger Dean (N664890) car had TO512MN with C 12 9 and vin N650157? according to Ed C's inspection. I think Alan F sold it to you when he located the original (664890) engine. I remember trying to buy (the one that had been in the car) from you, but it had already been sold.

The TO521MN block was in the deal when Alan bought the Blue Mule from Dan. The date on that block 'may' be D 29 9. That block was found in the Newark area.
I have never seen this one in person, just referring to my notes. It would be a very good engine, date-wise for my Scuncio, even if it's not my orig engine

Jude, i thought it was the first motor you described from the BB camaro but now im thinking its the second I think its a C229 if not a D229 date code. Thanks for the info
