1967 Yenko built Super Camaro YS709 originally sold through Central Chevrolet in W.Springfield Mass. This car was Deepwater Blue with light blue interior. Options included L72 427 4 speed, RC bellhousing, Dougs headers, traction bars and SW tach and gauges. The car has lots of documentation including the original dealer invoice, both original copies of the work order, Sober trucking shipping bill W/car & vin., copy of multi car bill to Central, a original bank draft noting Yenko Super Camaro w/ vin#. The car is a former race car and was mini tubed and the frame rails moved in. It does have original floors, dash board, cowl & firewall with all VINs intact. This ultra rare supercar is very solid and never rusty. Price is $200K obo, partial trades considered (Prefer Chevy solid lifter cars but would consider anything interesting, 2010 + Camaro, BMW M cars??) Take a look at Kevin S. website, he has a twin to this one. Please PM or email me at

Obviously a serious buyer must have got the pictures sent to him in order for the car to be sold.

Bud was the high performance mechanic at Hallman Central Chevrolet in Springfield Ma. in 1967. He remembered they had 2 black, 1 red , and 2 blue yenkos come in. They did not carry any yenko designations on them but did have 427 callouts on the fenders. They had hoodpins, guauges, liftbars, dougs headers and Rc bellhousing on the sticks. They ran in the 13's stock. Dave Hallman was the boss at that time, family had around a half dozen delearships around the country at time. Bud raced one of the two blue ones w/ a white stripe, 4spd for about a year till Aug. of 68 when he moved to California to work for Harry Mann Chevrolet. He said he had about 50 runs in it, had magnetic dealership advertising signs on the doors. Primarily ran at Lebanon Valley. He ran in superstock A's at 1st and had to add 134 lbs to car to get in good end of superstock B class to be more competitive. He put new 4.56 gears in, a 950 cfm carb and L88 cam. Also pulled shocks and used angle iron to give it a rigid rear and a 3 finger clutch. 11.08 was the record in SS/B at time and he ran a 11.02 at Lebanon but in an unsanctioned event. The car was later sold at the dealer to a woman after they put the shocks back in, in aug 68. He later heard she may have blew a rod. Bud is very nice guy w/ a great recollection. I thought since the dealer only had 2 blue ones and he raced one for the dealer that the owner of ys709 may have a 50/50 chance of having the dealer's demo Bud raced. Good luck
