Almost ready to install my intake on my LS6 454 motor.
Motor has stock Rectangular port heads.
There are many different Fel-Pro options for this set up but which one should i use?

Is it true the Steel core with printo seal is the way to go.
What do you guys use?

Also if you can please send me a part number.
Thanks

Thank You Mark.

I read up on the 1211 and they seem like a really good gasket with composite core laminate with the printoseal and both exhaust holes closed.

I also see the Fel-Pro 1275S3 with Steel core laminate with Printoseal and it costs more than double than the 1211. Is it more just because it has the Steel core instead of the Composite core?

So which one should i buy <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/hmmm.gif

I think you should avoid that steel core gasket, especially with your aluminum intake manifold. There used to be a certain Fel-Pro intake gasket that even Edelbrock advised against NOT using and I think it may be the steel ones you mentioned. Anyway, you can't go wrong with Fel-Pro #1211. It's perfect for your application and it's the one that I always use for rectangular ports.
