1969 Camaro “LM1”. This car has been inspected in person and certified (see documentation) by Jerry MacNeish. Very late LM1, with a X44 Trim Tag. Unusual in that it has a Muncie 3 speed heavy duty transmission.

$22,00.00 (Valued by Jerry at 20-24k, pre paint)

"Car falls into the restoration project category with most of it's original components intact. "
and
"This car should be brought back to new condition as it represents a rare engine package that was deleted from production in January 1969"
and
“Only 10,406 LM1’s were produced from September 1968 until January 1969 making them desirable as a modestly priced high performance engine package”

This is far from a trailer queen, but a somewhat nice daily driver/project. This car had very little rust. The floor has had some repair in the past, and although not a professional job, was done nice as Jerry noted in his report. Some small repair in the trunk and one small dime size repair in the door jam. Newer paint job in the correct and original LeMans Blue paint, but some chips here and there. A few bubbles, but no breakthrough anywhere. As you can see from the pictures, the Fenders, Hood, Doors and Trunk all lined up and adjusted properly.

Orignally a dog dish rim car, car comes with choice of rims in pictures.

Drivetrain-
100% numbers matching Engine and Transmssion. Engine wise, she runs good with no rattling or other noises, but is tired and has never been apart from the looks of it. Drum brakes pull to the right as usual. Unusual Rare Munice MC1 3 speed manual transmission. The transmission shifts smoothly and has no issues. No headers! Original exhaust manifolds. This car features it’s ORIGINAL, BORN WITH numbers matching engine and transmission. Indeed, she has everything original, the distributor, intake engine lift hooks and even the carburetor is original born with to this car. No hunting for a million parts and pieces. The whole car is here. It comes with everything that came off of it. This LM1 still maintains 3 of the four “cocktail” shakers with the one behind the battery being the only one missing. The original 12 bolt was gone, but she has a date correct "BL" coded 12 bolt under her now.

Most of the interior is new and recovered. Again, this is a driver quality car and not a show car. What you would keep and what you would replace is up to you and what you want as a finished product. At this point, the car can be taken to a higher level, or left the way it is for a daily driver. This car codes out for a white convertible top originally, but has a new black top on it now.

Issues:
Needs new exhaust
Headlights need adjusting
Some interior needs completing
Springs in Door Hinges
Missing 1 Cocktail shaker (behind battery)
Few (2) nicks and a few small bubbles (smaller than a dime)

It is a driving project, but all numbers matching (but rear) and original Muncie 3 speed.

Still trying to buy Jude's COPO! <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif

Moving this and the L78 out to buy that car. I am losing money on this car at that price.....
