Guys,

The reserve has been significantly lowered. In fact, I'm hoping the next bid will remove the reserve.

Looking to move the car. Happy bidding!

This a fantastic value on a wonderful project that is documented, and verified. No ambiguous province here!

Next bid hits the reserve

X2. Killer price for a REAL LT1 Corvette.

Thanks gents!

We were going to restore the car but the motor was not original and it did need a full restoration + it was a 1972. Documented, no hit body, good colors, rare breed.

The car is still for sale. High bidder was a total deadbeat.

I find more and more this is the result of eBay auctions...unfortunate what it has come to. Guys run up your auctions to find your reserve, then they cancel their bids, which triggers other cancelled bids because real bidders get spooked. Or they win the auction and try and force you to sell for cheaper. I'd like to know how many cars really sell on eBay versus the bad auctions that don't pan out.

Too bad this happened to you, it's a good car for someone

This is why it sucks that sellers can't leave negative feedback for buyers.

I do not see this happen often but I rarely sell cars on Ebay, only parts. If someone retracts a bid I as them why they did it immediately. If they do not answer or don't have a good answer I bloc them as a bidder. I still get a few deadbeats but no repeat ones.

Sorry to hear about the deadbeat.

It happens with cars all the time, wether expensive or not.

This just happened to a good friend of mine last week on ebay. I hope that the car sells.
