Over the winter I sent my power brake booster to Jerry MacNeish for replating, after I put the booster back on and bolted the master cylinder on I bled the master cylinder without any issues, bled both front calipers, bled one side of the rear with no problems and when I switched to the other side of the rear I coundn't hardly get anything to come out of the bleeder. I rechecked the master cylinder ( rear reservoir) and tried to rebleed it but hardly anything would come out. I can't figure out what is going on. Is the problem in the brake booster?

Brake booster is good,something with the line,kinked or clog,try to blow out the line and bleeer out. Only other thing is a bad or frozen wheel cylinder. You can get a new rear wheel cylinder any place.

As Plowman says, highly unlikely the booster has anything to do with your problem. You undoubtedly stirred up some crud in the master cyl and lines, which has made its way into the system. The bad news here is that you'll probably have to disassemble everything in order to get rid of the blockage.

I had a similar problem last year when I replaced all the flexible brake lines on my Chevelle. I got everything bled just fine except for the drivers side rear wheel cylinder. I have a power bleeder and it wouldn't pull any fluid at all out of the bleeder on that wheel cylinder. The fitting on the brake line going to that cylinder was frozen (rusted) to the line, so I had to order a new rear axle brake line kit. By the time it got here, it was too hot to work in the garage (summer time in AZ) so I just left it sit until fall. Before I tore it apart, I decided to try bleeding that one more time, and lo and behold, it worked. Evidently whatever was blocking it either dissolved or worked its way out, because it's just fine now. For once, procrastination paid off <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif

HI i had the same thing happen it tured out to be the brass block on the drivers side frame full of dirt

get a power bleeder... makes life easy!

take and put a piece of wire down in the bleeder when you open it see if fluid comes out. I just had the same problem
