Now i know why the 1969 Camaro was voted best looking Chevrolet of all time <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif
That car just looks nasty sitting still.

<span style="font-weight: bold">"...fully documented"</span>......finally a definition for the masses! <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/laugh.gif
My question to seller:
<span style="font-style: italic">Sharp Camaro. Your description states "fully documented". What is the documentation that you have and is it original documentation. Thank you.</span>
Response:
<span style="font-style: italic">Hello,
No factory documentation just owner history and mileage history.
Thank you, John.</span>
(somehow my question did not get posted in his eBay ad! <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/hmmm.gif )
I'm not minimizing the fact that owner history can be a form of documentation, but I think this fella took a few liberties here. Just one of my pet peeves.... <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/crazy.gif . Moral of the story is, the definition of "fully documented" is whatever you want it to be as long as you sell your car! <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/dunno.gif

He definitely pushed the limits of full documentation too far.
He should get it survivor certified, vintage judged, and mcneish certified, if he wants top dollar for it.
But even still, I dont think it will match the price it would get with a window sticker or protecto plate in hand.
what a nice car....
I do think 'maybe' someone swapped the passenger seat bottom for the drivers side (passenger side looks more worn?).

I believe I owned this car in 2004. The car sold new in Allentown, Pa. and was basically repainted. Regarding the passenger seat bottom, it had a very noticeable burn mark on the passenger seat bottom. If this is the same car that would explain why the seat has been replaced. Also heavily undercoated even in the trunk. I will check my paper work VIN and see if it matches. There was no factory documentation on the car in 2004, and I sold this car and another lemans blue rs/ss L78 to buy my Yenko. It was a legit low mileage car but was not a true survivor.

Steve, aside from the documentation issue, was it the born with original motor, trans, rear?
Thanks,
Dan

Scott, the previous owner who sold the car in 2005, says "has been some paint work over the years".
Current owner says "the paint on the car is the original paint from 1969".
It makes me a bit suspicious about the rest of the story but I wouldn't mind it sitting in my garage!!

Absolutely the original drivetrain when I sold it to Scott in 2004.
