Cool car... neat project.
You need $50,000 in the body alone. A 390/427 with paper and good options like this (AC, PB, Good colors) is worth about $125k all in with bullet proof awards. Add 20% because of the original owner?

Too bad someone flared it..... It would be a cool survivor otherwise.
If I had spent the last 30 years trying to buy a car and finally got it..... I'd be keeping it...... though he probably paid 30k and is looking to make a fast 100k....

Cool car, flared back when it was just a used blue '67 Corvette.

I would have thought he would have had a 435hp vette, or a 400hp one with air. The first man on the moon would have a pretty big ego, right?
Who is to say, he may have had more than a few vettes in his garage from different dealers....(they were advertising tools for the dealer).

He hadn't been on the moon yet.

Cool vette. I'd day 2 it. Lace panels and keep the flares. Loud side pipes and fat international dragmaster wheels.... and i would drive it everyday. And i'd get a cool mural of a saturn rocket and the moon painted on the back somewhere

After the moon landing Armstrong had a special 1970 Camaro built for him by Chevrolet. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/flag.gif

The car isn't exactly a time-capsule, but I bet it goes like a rocketship.

IF I REMEBER CORRECT THE GUY HAD A CHANCE TO BUY THE LAST 1967 CORVETTE EVER BUILT AND PASSED ON IT. ONLY TO BUY IT A COUPLE OF YEARS LATER FOR TWICE THE ORGIANL OFFER. I KNOW THAT THIS CORVETTE IS NOT A 427/435 HP CAR, BUT SOME OF THE COLLECTORS THAT ARE CLOSE TO THE SPACE PROGRHAM, IT IS PRICELESS. I BETTING MY MONEY THAT THE CORVETTE WILL BE RESTORED AND THEN SOLD AT ONE OF THE LAEGE AUCTIONS. SORRY FOR THE CAPS
