I sold a good candidate to a member here a few years ago that I don't think he restored. It was even Lemans blue...

I'm trying to remember who bought it. Howard ? Texas ?

Yep! It's still sitting in the same place where we rolled it off the trailer. I've never looked under the hood or in the trunk. Hope Charley sent the motor....

If you're interested send me a pm.

I spoke to Jeff about this car the other day. Seems like a really neat survivor car!

Howard's car would be a great one to restore, Orig drivetrain, Paperwork, Lemans blue and not a rusty car.

Thanks

I'll look on my computer to see if I have anything. There should be a thread in for sale somewhere but good luck.

All I can see is spoilers and tach-center fuel gauge.

PM Sent. For docs., I have GMAC Finance paperwork and car shipper. Thanks to Charley's post I now have pictures of the trim tag, pad stamp, and tranny stamp.

One of these days when I find some time, I'm going to list ths Z/28 for sale if this doesn't get it done. Along with an LS6 Coupe that I'm ready to let go.

there are a few out there that are real nice and restored already. Probably way less than you can restore one for.

Umm, since the original poster restores cars for a living, he's probably not well served talking about buying a finished car and calling it done. I'm assuming it isn't his customer's first time at the rodeo. And even if it is, for many its the journey as much as the destination. Sounds like he wants them to restore a car for him. It also gets around the whole "that was Bob's car" talk at shows. Although when you're talking 69 Z28's, its getting hard to find a car that wasn't Charley's at some point, lol.
