Doug Dillard Passed away

Most Bluegrass fans know the Dillards and the great Banjo picker Doug Dillard, those who don't will remember him and his bluegrass band as The Darlin's from The Andy Griffith Show. Doug was 75. I had some of thier CD's and enjoyed Dougs pickin a lot.

He was a fellow Missouri boy, born &amp; raised up the road in Salem, MO...some of my favorite episodes include &quot;the Darlins&quot;!

Sad news but thanks for posting this, RIP Doug Dillard.
Prayers and condolences to Doug's family and friends also fans everywhere including Andy who must be feelin' low these last weeks w/ more Mayberry folks passing on.
The Darlin's were always the coolest especially when Ernest T was around!
Mayberry sure feels like home to a lot of us here who were there every day growing up in that truly magical era...thanks Andy!
