Hi, Sweet car is that odd to have headlight washers without the Rally sport option ? Does the car have the correct bumper jack for the endura front bumper as well?

why badmouth other cars you aren't selling when you yourself use that Barrett-Jackson rebodied COPO Camaro pile of doubletalk to sidestep the fact the original engine in this car is gone?

"Not Original Restoration Engine
Original trans

"The 302ci 290hp Engine is a correct date coded and stamped restoration block."
I believed it to be an accurate description of the engine.
Would you like to make an offer on this wonderful Z28 which does not have its original engine?

The headlight washer option is a unique option without the RS option.
Endura bumper jacking bracket is included.

Another car sold by Nickey Chicago. Thanks Stefano, I was a bit nervous about leaving my car with someone to sell, but after talking to you for a while I was confident I was doing the right thing. And it turned out you put together a deal that everyone was happy with. Thanks again. George Oleskiewicz

hey george, by chance is that the same car a guy on the southern part of chicago had for a while? I remember a chap with a wee bit of an irish accent you were helping (and he got a silver 69 z)...and this car looked just like the one he had. this goes back some yrs ago...now.

This Z28 was found still with the original owner, in MN by Chad Blomberg. Chad sold it to George, who in turn restored it.
There was a thread about this Z28 with as found pics going back to approx 2006, but I couldn't pull it up.
The Z28 is going to a good home with a yenko.net member.
Thanks again George for using Nickey Chicago to help sell your Z28. It was a pleasure doing business with you.

Very cool car indeed. Is that S/S class on the windshield? Also I noticed the Firestone tires on the Norwood car. Awesome pictures!
Mike
Stefano
07-21-2012, 02:52 PM
Yes, that is SS. I have seen numerous Norwood Z28s with the Firestone Sport Car 200s?
That is the correct tire for this Z28. Still has the original spare in the trunk.
enio45

My late Oct of 69 (10D) Norwood Z also has the firestone sportcar 200 tires including the orig spare rim and tire never mounted...

The recent buyer has decided that this Z28 is just too nice and original to be used as he intended, so it's on it's way back to Nickey in order to find another new owner.

It just goes to show how you do business and how far you will go to make customers happy. Not everybody is willing to take a car back these days. A car this nice will sell again in a heartbeat. I know if I did not have one car too many I would be asking more about it.
Mark Sheppard
Stefano
07-30-2012, 10:36 PM
Thanks for the kind words Mark.
The buyer had an idea, that he would seek out the best restored Z28 that he could find and then make it a pro-touring car with mini tubs, big wheels and brakes. He said that he felt no remorse about doing that with this Z28 when he loaded it up and took it home.
However once he had it back at home he was not keen on being the one to cut up the car and/or mess with George's restoration.
So it's back up for sale @ $75,000.00

07-30-2012, 11:15 PM
Man, why doesn't he just buy a dynacorn shell and build it from there to suit his own taste? I think you can get those already mini-tubbed and he wouldnt get any grief for it. Glad he reconsidered.
Charley Lillard
07-30-2012, 11:35 PM
Because you will have more money in a dynacorn just trying to make stuff fit than they are worth. The low mile 6 cylinder car I had would have been a better candidate.

That would have been a shame, cut up a perfect restored car? why not find a rust bucket and wreck that? Glad its back forsale
