Three young men who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Thanks for looking.

God bless them all, especially those men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for everyone else.

Went to a SF Giants game today and they had a couple jets flyover right after the National Anthem. Then they had a 22 year old Marine that had stepped on a mine in Afghanistan who had lost both legs and a arm. He got quite the standing ovation. Very emotional time.

Took my Chevelle to the local parade today, and a very young soldier who lost both legs asked me what kind of car this is.
I told him,and asked if he'd like to sit in it.
He did,and asked me to help him in.I graciously obliged and helped him out of his wheelchair.
He was in awe of the lil cowl hood door standing open..
He then asked if he could start it up.
"Absolutely" I said."Do you want to take if down the street?"
He laughed and said that's not possible......yet.
Thata boy I said..I'll leave you an open rain check.
He loved how the cowl door closed as the engine idled.

Real nice guy,boy was he young.

Ditto.

Our Wounded Warrior Project benefit car show was Saturday, and we raised just over $7k. On Sunday I went to Calverton National Cemetery to my father in-laws grave. Looking at the thousands who served our country and are laid to rest at this site quite touching.
