Enthusiast does what BIG GUYS can't or won't
I posted before on the efforts of one guy to make a better stripe kit for 70-72 Trans Am owners. Greg has this deal all set now , GM licensed and ready to sell the great product that he has produced.
I hope that this is not conceived as an add as much as it is just me showing my admiration for a job that I consider extremely well done.
The decal kits that are on the market and provided by the BIG company are ok, they just aren't 100% correct for what a concours restoration deserves.
Fellow enthusiast, Greg San Marco from Texas took it upon himself to create accurate high quality stripe kits for 70-72 Trans Am's. Greg took on this project to ensure concour quality stripes are available on the market. Greg has taken great care to replicate both the stripe for the blue car as well as the white car making them the most accurate to original kit on the market today. Greg has two 72 Trans Am’s and is known for his attention to detail and his perfectionist attitude. Greg has spared no costs in order to bring this to market. These stripes are totally GM licensed and are priced competitively with the current stripe kits on the market. Here is a link to the PY thread that started all this. Greg has been working on this for more than a year getting this project to its current state.

In my opinion this is what this hobby is about. I don't think Greg is going to make a killing on these due to the limited market but he went ahead and put his money and time into this in order to supply a better product for us and himself. I hope that he will be able to bring other needed decals to market in the future, although I don't know that there are plans for that as of now.
I know that Greg has experimented with doing custom colors that would allow people to use these stripes on other color cars, not just the blue and white. Here is hope that we all can support efforts like this that make our cars closer to the way Pontiac made them than anything else out there.
Here is a link to Greg's current web site, I have absolutely NO FINACIAL Interest in this, but I have seen proofs of the stripe kits and endorse the product. I also want to help get the word out that there might be a better alternative out there than is presently available. I also would bet that his customer service will be second to none. He is now open for business and accepting orders.
