I'm helping a friend verify what is correct on his 69 L89 SS396/375 Camaro. Here are a few questions:
Should Water neck be steel or aluminum on an L89?
Should 4sp Hurst Shifter chrome lever be regular round stock with HURST stamp like stock Z-28, or rectangular?
Did all L-89's come with smog? (one manifold is smog equipped and the other isn't)
Did all L-89's come with 14x7's? Car has 15x7's and I thought those oly came on Z-28's
It's a 713 code Black Houndstooth car with all correct woodgrain, molded door panels, etc, but the passenger side dash/glovebox/ashtray area does NOT have the woodgrain. Is this correct or could deluxe interior be ordered without the passenger woodgrain?
Should Power Steering pulley be Deep Groove as well to match the other pulleys?

Sounds like a pieced together car to me, either that, or a lot of incorrect parts were used.

Car would have round Hurst handle, aluminum outlet, complete smog setup, and deep groove ps pulley.

Don't know about wheels or interior questions.

All deluxe interior 69 Camaro would have included the wood grain panels on the glove box door, ashtray, and surrounding area. Would have also included wood grain accents around radio, headlight switch, and horn shroud, if standard wheel. You could order the interior accent group which only included wood grain in the radio, headlight and horn shroud, but it would have standard seats and door panels.
