1968 AMX model for veterans only??

Just heard a story about a guy that owned a 1968 AMX. He said he bought it upon returning from Vietnam. The interesting part was that he also said that the AMX (his car) was a special model that was only available to veterans. Anyone ever hear of this??

nope never heard of anything like that worked at the Kenosha plant started in 1973 playboy bunny got a AMX in 68 other than that car nothing special for 68 model year ...them darn salesmen LOL
