My name is Wade...I grew up in Hempstead, NY. Just down the road from Motion. My older brothers hung out there and built small block and 1 big block Vega. Been around cars my whole life. I have a few street rods, but lately i have been intereseted in the Supercars of the 70s'. Recently i had a 71 Motion Camaro and then a 69 Harrell Camaro in the shop for some maintenance and possible sale. Currently i'm finishing up a 66 Corvette Tanker.

Welcome. I have a 69 Camaro, SS, X66D80 with Motion parts on it. Joel would only give a verbal "maybe" on it. NICX Doc's show it coming from Curry Chevrolet. It is hugger orange and was apparently raced based on what I see on the car. 6 Leaf Springs, Modded fuel tank etc. Any chance you remember anything about it? <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif

That DH car is one of my favorites!! Love the look and the color combo is killer. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/headbang.gif
BIG
Those are some great looking cars. I recall that both 69 DH Camaro and the 71 BM Camaro were at SCR a while back. I believe the owner also had / has a Yenko Vega.

That's definitely the Harrell Camaro that Brian and Joe did for Ogle.

I know both cars. The DH is Bill Ogles and we restored it some time ago. Killer car.. I found the Motion car in the Johnstown area years ago, and it is a GREAT car with a ton of paperwork..
