that was one nice rust free california camaro that got toasted....thought it was a z28 at first (hood stripes), but its not. they also toasted a 71 chevelle in the garage too, on the lift.

which had no engine in it when she slammed it into the garage... you can see into the engine bay when the hood is cocked.... great movie! best part is when shes under the overpass and moochie gets out of the rig and you see christine sitting in the dark blasting itty bitty pretty one

I like the movie, but I loved the book. They changed things, as they are often forced to do because of time and money. The way Christine takes out Buddy in the book is FAR more interesting than running him over in the middle of a dark street, even if she is on fire. And in the book, Stephen King describes Buddy's Camaro as a heavy raked, big n littles Gen 2, not a subtlely modded Gen 1. That fits the character much better (no offense intended to you Day 2 diehards, lol)..

In Kings book 11-22-63,a great 1000 page read BTW, he makes several references to a white over Red 58 Plymouth Fury, that the main character encounters several times and is key to the plot. I like the fact that King created a subtle link to Christine in the 11-22-63 book. I also tried to read "Of a Buick Eight". I appreciate the fact that King keeps the detail straight in his books involving "car" charactors.
