Ok This s all new to me I had driectv for years and last month I got Verizon fios
and now have the Velocity channel and there is a show called graveyard carz
they are working on a 71 cud a that was a 440 6pack car that was totaled over 20 years ago and has been sitting on a farm They said they want to show that a car can be fix with out rebody .TO me that car is way to far to gone
Also there is south beach classics were a guy just trades classic cars then there is fast & loud desert kings
any way I am glad I dumped driectv and find more car shows on Fios
It will be interesting to see if they do bring this cuda back to life

Just my opinion but, Graveyard Carz is one of the most annoying of all car shows on TV at the moment. All those guys do is bicker the entire show and rarely do you get to see anything being done to the cars.

Fast and Loud is an interesting show that I have enjoyed watching on occassion.

To me South Beach Classics seems to showcase a business that sells project cars; I've never seen anything for sale on that show that really impressed me.

Dave, I couldn't agree more. While knowledgeable about Mopars, after seeing that show, I'd seek out someone else to restore my car. One gets the sense from the show that very little work gets done on a car in any particular day. If I was a customer whose car they're restoring during the show, unless I was getting a discount, I'd be pissed.

I caught a single episode of Graveyard Carz just in time to see some idiot take a car out and do 130 mph on a public road in the rain. Not a good thing to watch with a teenage son a year away from driving watching the show with me. I'm just not interested in watching TV to see people argue and bicker. Life's too short for that nonsense. I'll find something else to watch, thanks.

I agree with the above. I really enjoy fast and loud. that is the good new show to watch. I like it cause the owner of the shop screws up sometimes with bad buys (and we can all relate to that). but then he has some good turnarounds that make up for it. pretty decent show.

I think the 'Cuda is restorable. Looks worse than what it is. Solid ,rust free roof, firewall, floors, inner structure.
Quarters are not rusted just smashed in.

Any of the car shows that have drama or yelling or constant talk about deadlines only get watched one time here. I can't stand reality shows and when they carry it over into my car tv it's just aggravating. I wish we had a channel that showed the old shows and old drag racing as well as the good shows of today.

I think Mark Worman spent his own money to get this show going. Could be a good show less the drama.

He should have saved his money.

It is probably the most annoying show I have partially seen in years. I want my 10 minutes back. All they did was argue and make up more crap to argue about - they had a whole episode on going to the chiropracter? What's next: the colonoscopy special episode? <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/rolleyes.gif

Almost as bad as that South Bronx Car Parts show on Speed Channel.

How about a show on someone restoring a car with realistic time expectations, normal cost over runs and actual parts refinishing tips.

Maybe PBS could do "This Old House" for cars. That would be a nice change of pace.

Another show that, for some strange reason, I find entertaining is "Carfellas". I think these guys may have sold that "Nu Yawk" special Impala to Kwhizz.

Graveyard Carz also seems like a show that should be half an hour and is stretched to an hour. I don't know how many times he muttered yesterday about not wanting to give the car to a stripper and get nothing back, and have to pay the owner for nothing. I saw nothing about actually restoring the car.

I zipped through a recorded version of graveyard cars this morning on the dipping of the cuda. Its not that bad of an episode (1/2 these shows are commercials). I agree with someone else, the smashed up 71 cuda is salvagable (floor, roof, firewall look ok). Plus they are doing a black 71 340 4spd. They got some cool stuff in the pipe coming.

show kinda reminds me of the old boyd coddington show (with the stupid background antics).
