It was a great day to see some good old Pontiac`s. We stopped by the MCACN`s booth to visit with Bob and Vicki, always nice to see you both <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif

Hung out with Mike, Randy, Mark, Arnold and Barb. A very nice event indeed.

Pics.....

This was my favorite Pontiac, a 1961 Ventura Bubble Top.

----If that 67 2+2 tahoe turquoise Ponco is a 4-speed it very well may be my old car! I bought it at Crlisle in about 1974 and drove it to (then) home in Ft.Liquerdale. Painted it and did a few things like chromed the bumpers, and drive it. Then moved to Chicago to take my job at Classic Motors and brought it along. Sold it about 6 months after moving to Chi-town. 80mph felt like about 40. Great road car!!!......Bill S

Bill,

I think it is your former Poncho, the current owner is Arnold Boris. He has a fantastic collection of Big GM Muscle, all 4 speeds

I don't think it's the same car....Arnold bought it from a guy in Oak lawn IL who's father bought the car new....the color is Mariner Turquoise paint code L

Good seeing you, Dan, and thanks for posting the pics. I am happy to say that several of the cars you pictured accepted my invitation to join us in November at MCACN.

Thanks to all who stopped by our booth and especially to those of you who officially signed up.

It was a very productive 10 days on the road for MCACN 2012, albeit a bit toasty!

This silver 64 looks just like a car I looked at in 1970 in Mundelein for $350, but that one had a bench seat originally. I missed buying the car by 5 minutes and even offered the guy more money.
