Too cheap for a real SD car?
What's original alloy nose parts alone worth these days?

Pretty cool if it's real. I bet he has had a few phone calls about that car!

I know its real.I talked to the new owner as he was picking it up.It is one of 7 389 SD cars.I believe it was designed as a NASCAR car as it has a open rear end and single 4 bll carb.EVERYTHING seemed to match up as it left the factory. The NASCAR AFB still has the original tag on it.The SD air cleaner is original with small holes cut around the side. The new owner already has a original 62 SD race car.The car is listed in McCarthys book.Tom

What was the asking price in the Craigslist ad? I never saw the original ad.

I would have paid 75 for it in the condition it was in.Hard to say what it would be worth restored,no race history, although it is one of 7 its still a 389 4 bbl and pretty much everyone expects a 421 in a SD car and 2 4 bbls.Does not have all the alu.Rare is not always desireable.Tom
