My self and three "carnut" friends did a Sunday morning cruise West Vancouver to Squamish, a 45 mile drive both ways along a very scenic coastal mountain road that is one of the most beautiful drives in the world. Driving was spirited but kept under the radar.
Lloyd Costley (Edgemont Village on this site) Black 69 RSZ28 original survivior, Mike Price 69 Silver Z28 Tribute,Dave Hogg 64 327 4 speed Corvette and my 68 Dodge Charger. Its popular route for Sunday morning cruising a regular with the Porsche Club and this Sunday there wer hundreds of motorcycles.

Sam
A friend of mine has one but was not available for the cruise, we have done some car shows together.
Here are photos from a show 2 years ago.

Hard to imagine anything more fun than a "spirited" ride through those roads with that group! That's what it's all about!

Thanks Verne, for those of you who know the road you will know what I am talking about. The lead car changed several times and it was all adult behaviour.

In 1974 when I worked the afternoon shift at the Pepsi bottling plant on Boundary Road, I would go for a drive after work, usually 1AM. Often I would drive to Squamish, and it was a winding 2 lane road back then. I had a 69 Z28 and it would be a great drive listening to that 302 just sing, and of course there was almost never any other traffic.
A 302 sings like no other when you're going through the gears on a winding mountain road with the windows down.
Thanks for the reminder!
