Fred,
Is this an "Early" design hood? Can you take a picture of the underside of the hood?

Dan:
Just realized that you wrote me about the hood. Yes, I will take
a picture of the hood and try to post it or send it to you via email.
I probably won't be able to get it done until this Tuesday. Is there
something I can look for to get you the information you need? Thanks.

Fred,
Here is a picture of a "Early Hood" VS. "Late Hood"
"Early Hood" Pic

VS.
Late Hood.....The openings in the front where the insulation goes is larger, even though this picture is a Cowl Hood....you get the idea.

Hi, Dan:
My son will help with the picture as soon as he lands, but
I just looked at the hood and it is the hood like the one on the bottom,
the LATE MODEL hood with the three "flanges"? in the triangular cutouts on
the hood. Thanks for sending the pics.
