Went down and tuned up a 1941 Ford conv prostreet car yesterday for a friend of my father's and look what was in the garage....
Turns out the guy built this car starting in 1963 was a member of the philly modifiers and has some really cool stories...
Blown Flathead,
Real Magnesium Americans on the rear
two tubs fiberglassed together.

Hand drilled axle with his brother being the one to unplug the drill if he got hung up...

This Car was in Rod Action in the mid late 70's.

I know my dad made up new plug wires for the car recently he had to drill the old swollen wire out of the vintage tubular looms...

Check out what else he had sitting around...
a 1938 Ford COE Cab Over Engine

The Philadelphia modifiers are still in existence and doing well. They were at the Wildwood car show over the weekend and they have their show/race at Atco October 7th. Ill be there. Its a huge event
