When during the production run did they change from the flat stlye( pictured below) back up lens to the bubble style? Was it all plants or just some ?Thanks

Sometime between Jan./Feb.1970,and it was in effect @ ALL 7 Chevelle assembly plants.
Some other Chevrolet vehicles received this reverse bubble revision in their tail lights as well.
Impala & Trucks..

I have seen original cars as late as a March `70 build with the flat reverse lens.

What are they worth . I only seen two sets of nos lens .Both sets I own . I only have one early car that these are correct for thanks to what I have learned from this post. Thanks again to all for the info.

I read somewhere that they were actually replaced under a factory recall. It may have been on this board.

There are some documented Oshawa built survivor Chevelles with these lenses on them from as late as April. In most cases I would expect a plant to use up their inventory before changing over except in cases like this where it was a safety design defect of sorts. That being said it is possible Canada did not have the same rules and did not have to abide by them so they used up their inventory before changing over.
