Hey did anyone catch the TV Show Fast and Loud Tonight? They Had a 1967 Corvette L71 Car That Had a Baldwin Decal on the back panel. Was Supposed to be an all original Car. It had a small Block under the hood but it had Motion Style valve covers. Would be cool to learn more about the car and its heritage.

Yes, I saw that too. I think that baldwin sticker looked too new and they never talked about the engine other than from the tank sticker. So the original big block must have been replaced with that small block. No way a car guy can look at a smallblock with an aftermarket holley and mistake that for a 427/345 with tri power! <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif

Motion emblem in valve cover from eBay ad is not correct in my opinion

If it's the same car, why would the owner sell it to Richard for $25,000.00 when he turned down $36,300.00 on ebay? If it was a real Lynndale 435 car with paper work, it has to be worth a lot more than that. I Love the color combo either way, stunning!

After watching the show, I would never let those guys "restore" a car for me especially after seeing what they did to the low mile original paint Woodill Wildfire last week.

I saw their work personally at a Conroe, TX auction a few months ago and it was very poor. They brought a restored truck and an older Lincoln that they lowered. Both were very poor quality, especially the Lincoln. The paint and chrome were marginal and the fit of the trim was terrible. I certainly couldn't do better, but I don't make my living doing that.

I agree, totally. They certainly are no Chip Foose-type shop. I think they just churn and burn their cars. You can see that when any fool would chop the windshield on a rare vehicle just for fun (that Burn(?) sportscar - I mean, who would do that to a car that is supposedly 1 of 9???)

But, Richard and Aaron are pretty funny to watch and entertaining, and that's the fun of it. Would I buy a car they are selling? No way. Am I going to watch it? Sure, it's fun TV.

I see the e-bay auction was this sept.. That show was probably shot 6 months to a year ago. The guy selling it on e-bay is probably the guy that bought it from grease monkey

"Would I buy a car they are selling? No way."....If I read this post right, they just sold at a minimum ,a documented 435 original paint 67 corvette for 25K last month . If so, Id like to get on thier mailing list.

Just to clarify (didn't think I had to, but to be clear), of course, if what they were selling like that Vette was a bargain, I'd buy it, but I meant one of their highly modified cars as their weird isn't exactly AMBR-level...

Another show that seems to highlight hacks is called "Texas Car Wars". Watched my first episode two days ago and was amazed at the crap these people put out and hope to sell.

I used to like watching "Dream Car Garage"; that guy seems to know everything about the cars he works on and does things the right way.

Actually I would have bought the 41 Willys they sold for around 20,000 a few weeks ago. That was a KILLER deal.
